One Moment

"One moment of serene and confident life is more glorious than a whole campaign of daring:"

But the 'whole campaign of daring' actually does give rise to the 'serene and confident moment', no matter whether it is successful in its first aim.

One thing I'm sure of is that, quite aside from joy and excitement and general wellbeing, luminous moments which fully engage us, probably add up to less than an hour of our lives. But they are moments that offer glimpses of Transfiguration.

I was sitting on my favorite bench this morning telling myself to Be Here Now. Part of it is just being aware.
