TRUST

My thoughts are hazy.

Sleep last night was interrupted.

A premonition of sorts?

Maybe just a reminder of what needs to be done.

They say it's all about the timing of things.

Is there ever a right time or perfect timing?

More often than not, one just has to trust.

Trust in the not knowing.

Trust in the uncertainty.

Best of all, trust in him up there.

Somewhere in the sky behind the haze,

Someone is watching over me.

This I trust 100%.

Love is just a Word

So they say…

Love is not just a word.

It comes in many shapes, forms and sizes.

Love is not about being with someone.

It can also be about not being with someone.

As they say, love yourself.

Love is blind.

For some, but not for all.

If love were blind then I’d be staring at the wall.

Love is never having to say you’re sorry.

That was the famous line of the movie, Love Story.

For me, Love is saying you’re sorry.

Love thy neighbor.

It depends on what kind of neighbors one has.

Even if you didn’t love them, doesn’t mean you hate them.

All you need is Love.

Famous line in a song!

Feel good indeed when singing along.

Not everyone can sing in tune.

Regardless, even the most off-beat individuals find love.

Love is in the air.

Yes!  Every waking moment breathe in and breathe out.

Reality Check

With so much work to accomplish every day, my weekends have been anything but restful.

I have been waking up too early every morning in a rush because of so many things to do.

How unlikely of me.

I am disappointed with myself because I have allowed myself to reach this exhausting point.

A year down the road feels like a decade.

I value the work that I do but, admittedly, it’s taking a toll on me.

Maybe it’s just another hiccup in life.

Maybe it’s just an off year.

I can’t help but at times wonder…

Could there be yet another something for me out there?

Something that will keep me motivated.

Something what will shift me to a better place.

Not just work wise but all around life kind of thing.

You see, truth is, I’m on my own.

Not that it’s a bad thing, it just is.

I know God hears.

Eventually things will shift again.

Just have to sit it out and ride the tide.

Castles on a Rainy Day

It’s been raining for days on end.

The girls are back from their trips.

Home is warm with their presence once again.

M1 bought all sorts of souvenirs.

A paper weight of a castle she visited.

I sat at the breakfast table this morning.

Indeed! the castle figurine caught my eye.

Why not give it a try!

I pulled out my sketchpad and pens.
